Hello! Just wanted to say hi and let folx know that I have just listed some new dress paintings on Ebay and ask a quick question.

I have a large stack of cool photos I've taken over the years. Other than the scratching and painting method does anyone have any other ideas of good ways to alter them? Can they be transferred?

Thanks in advance!

the only way i know of to transfer actual photos is with liquid drano.

otherwise you can scan them and then print them out and use the copies to make transfers with.

There is a process of using Liquitex (or some sort of thing like it) where you brush it on the photo in one direction, let it dry. Then brush it in the opposite direction, let dry and then you soak it in water or something so the original paper peels away. . . . tomorrow I will dig around - I have notes on it somewhere.

Also, I think you can use clear contact paper, then soak the whole thing in water at room temp for a few hours and then the contact peels away . . . further research required.
